How does a poor diet cause Dandruff?

Diet is also a factor in Dandruff. Diet is a critical factor in the health of your hair and scalp. If you don’t keep it in check, you may find yourself with Dandruff almost every day of the year.

You can reduce your Dandruff by changing your diet.

A spike in insulin may be caused by limiting the consumption of sugary foods, processed food, and unhealthy fats. This can stimulate hormones that trigger oil production. Restricting intake of refined sugar, processed foods, fried and fatty food, and gluten may reduce flaking.

Adding fruits and vegetables to your diet will positively affect itchiness and flaking scalp and improve overall health. These foods are rich in nutrition and fiber. A low-fiber diet leads to poor digestion, creating skin problems like Dandruff.

Zinc, a mineral, and biotin (a B vitamin) can also reduce Dandruff. Zinc-rich foods like oysters, pumpkin seeds and biotin-rich foods like carrots and eggs may reduce flakes.

Many foods can help reduce Dandruff. Salmon, peanut butter, olive oil, tuna, walnuts, avocados, and walnuts all support healthy hair and scalp. These foods are high in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids.

Hair problems such as Dandruff and hair loss can be caused by a lack of protein in your diet. Protein-rich foods help to keep scalp problems away by maintaining the right balance of oils on your scalp and hair. Protein-rich foods include eggs, fish, poultry, and dairy products.
