COVID-19 Update No. 5

So here we are yet again with another week passing in this crazy, unprecedented time but at least it seems like that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting a bit brighter.

Firstly I want to thank all of those clients who have continued to come in for appointments, grab that morning coffee from our Espresso Bars or buy from our Online Store. You've not only kept us in business but you've kept people employed, put food on their table and help pay their bills.  You've also enabled us to keep employed our amazing guys and girls from places like Brazil, France and Ireland that aren't eligible for Government assistance.

More importantly I want to thank those people that haven't been in to visit us over the last month or so because they've been unwell, or have been in isolation because of recent travel.  We are extremely grateful that you've done your part in keeping the rest of your community safe.  There's a fair chance that you definitely need a tidy up by now, good news for you then, all of our stores are STILL OPEN.

All of the precautions are still in place across all of our stores to ensure the health and safety of our staff, clients and community.  All stores are strictly adhering to 1 person per 4 square metre, hygiene and sanitisation levels have always been above what is required, our espresso bars continue to serve takeaway only, in our cups only sorry, and we'd prefer your payment to be via card, tap and go would be great. 

If you've been in recently you've probably noticed that our external furniture has either been removed or is not in use at the moment.  This is a directive from the Health Department.  Some stores have permanent fixtures near them that are provided by Council or the actual development.  When you come for your coffee, please remember that we are serving takeaway only.  We have been warned and we have seen members of the public warned for sitting on a park bench to drink their coffee.  Guys we certainly don't need a fine, neither do our staff and I'm sure neither do you.  It's crazy, I know, and my opinion on it is probably irrelevant, but it is what we are being asked to do, or not do, at the moment.

Again thanks for your continued support during this time, we urge you to not only keep coming in but keep supporting your locals.  It's bloody tough out there for everyone at the moment, when and where you can please support each other.  If you have an appointment that you cannot make, please give us a call or send us a message.  With reduced staff and hours, appointment spots are certainly in demand and if we know you're not coming we can try and give it to someone else.
