Firstly we want to say a huge thanks for all your patience whilst we slowly make some much needed improvements to our Fortitude Valley store.
For those that have been in over the last few months you will have certainly noticed a fresh coat of paint on the walls, some comfy new hair wash basins for you and some new shelving units. More recently we've added in a brand spanking new Synesso coffee machine. Most importantly though we've gotten to the bottom of our Air Conditioning problem and we've finally got some cold air filtering through the shop. Despite a few false starts over the summer period and some very frustrating times for our Air Conditioning contractors, staff and clients alike, its safe to now say that it's definitely up and running now. Just in time for those cooler months!
There's a few more items to go on the list. New Barber Chairs are currently being sourced for your comfort, we're pretty excited about this one. The finishing touches are being planned for our coffee and basin area, so keep your eye out.
You might see a few familiar faces over the next few months as well. Awa, Leighton and Lisa will be rotating through the store after some time in our recently closed Post Office Square store. We're also winding back the clocks in welcoming back Geordie Stavrou who was with us way back when we started in 2012. Also Billie Schneider who started his apprenticeship with us over 5 years ago. On the coffee front Oliver is back after some time away also. Those that had been in our King Street store when we first opened will definitely remember those smooth coffees!
Welcome back guys!

Here we are in September and I didn’t think for a minute that I’d be writing this with half our country still in lockdown and the other half sweating on the daily press briefings from our politicians to see if we’re headed the same way.
There are so many differing opinions out there in regards to COVID, and so many so called experts coming out of the woodwork telling us what we should or shouldn’t be doing.
Fight For a Cause is a 10 Week Program, raising much needed funds for charity, whilst providing everyday people the experience of stepping into a boxing ring in front of a packed arena with friends, family and colleagues cheering them on!
