I’ll be honest with you in that I didn’t think writing this email that we’d have half a country in Lockdown, exposure sites everywhere again in Brisbane, state borders closed, politicians playing political football with this thing called COVID and the most concerning thing for me is that there seems to be no end to what we’re dealing with.
Obviously our Bondi Beach store is unfortunately still closed due to the COVID Restrictions in NSW. When are we going to be able to open our doors again? Obviously we can’t answer that one at the moment, hopefully it's sooner rather than later. We certainly feel for all our friends, family and clients that are going through these tough times at the moment.
At the moment Restrictions have remained stable in Queensland for a while now. You still need to be wearing your face mask in store or when coming to order your takeaway coffee. Whilst getting your haircut please leave your face mask on during your appointment, if you are getting your beard groomed, a shave or facial then you can remove the mask for that part of your appointment. If you’re feeling unwell then please reschedule your appointment. Please also keep an eye on the list of exposure sites on a regular basis and if you’re required to get a test or isolate then please do not attend one of our stores.
I flagged in our last email that we’d have some service menu changes coming up. Those changes have started to happen now. We will continue to honour our old pricing for any existing appointments that are in our booking system. The service menu changes will continue to roll out with some new services being added in for you to take advantage of some awesome new products available to us.
Our coffee menu has also had a few changes. The biggest has been that we’ve introduced a 6oz cup to our offer. Those that will know about a 6oz cup will know, those that don’t, I’d definitely recommend giving them a go. Those that frequent our Brisbane stores would know that we have some amazing food on offer. Doughnuts are still massively popular and continue to sell out very quickly, so don’t muck about on a Friday, get on in and grab yours before they sell out.
I’ve said it all the way through this, but your local small businesses are doing it tough at the moment. Please get out when and where you can and support those small businesses. Check in with your mates and see how they’re doing. For those that are in lockdown you obviously can’t catch up with each other, look outside the box, maybe you could get everyone together on Zoom to watch the game on the weekend with a few beers?
Look after your friends and family.
Look after your local small businesses.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Here we are in September and I didn’t think for a minute that I’d be writing this with half our country still in lockdown and the other half sweating on the daily press briefings from our politicians to see if we’re headed the same way.
There are so many differing opinions out there in regards to COVID, and so many so called experts coming out of the woodwork telling us what we should or shouldn’t be doing.
