I just wanted to give you a quick update on where we are at in relation to COVID-19 and The Emporium Barber.
As it stands we are OPEN and business is as usual as it can be at the moment.
Please be assured that we have doubled down on our normal high standards when it comes to hygiene. Our staff are diligent in washing and sanitising their hands and equipment between appointments, before and after breaks etc. Hard surfaces around our stores are being disinfected on a regular basis and we are following all updates from the Australian Government in relation to preventative measures that we need to put into place.
We would like to stress how important it is to you, our business, staff and families, and the community in general, to please follow the advice that has been well publicised at the moment and not attend your appointment if you are exhibiting any symptoms or have the slightest inclination that you may be at risk of having COVID-19. We ask that you reschedule your appointment to an appropriate date, there's no cancellation or rebooking fees associated with this, so no need to worry about that.
We ask that you simply use common sense here, if you’re not sure about keeping your appointment, err on the side of caution and please reschedule your appointment. Don’t just not turn up for your appointment, please call us or follow the links in your confirmation email to reschedule it.
In relation to our espresso bars. At the moment we are still accepting your reusable cups, however we simply ask that they have been recently thoroughly washed and are clean before presenting to our staff. We are monitoring the advice around this area and it may come a time where we can no longer accept your cup and need to give you your coffee in one of our regular takeaway cup.
We are continuously assessing the situation and will continue to update our guests and staff as things evolve. We feel assured in our preparedness and are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for our clients and staff.
